Stratégie grains conference

Within the framework of the European Commodities Exchange 2018 in Rouen(France), Stratégie grains invites you to an exceptional conference staged on Thursday 25th October 2018 in the Salle Flaubert, located within the buildings of the Stock Exchange itself. To learn more about it, visit the dedicated page.

The programme will unfold across the following sessions :

11h00 - 11h45  Presentation of Stratégie Grains’ new products
Our team will introduce the new web module dedicated to global balance sheets for supply and demand, which covers all the key countries for each commodity. You will also discover the new Stratégie Grains reports on global markets, the new reports for EU malting barley and sugar.

11h45 - 12h15  Grain outlook / global and European balance sheets for wheat, corn and barley and the major challenges for the end of the 2018/2019 season
During this session, we will address the global tightness on wheat and barley, the role of corn in this context, as well as trends for 2019/2020 and their possible impact on prices.

12h15-12h45  Oilseed outlook / the keys to understanding the new dynamics for global exchanges of oilseeds and products
We will look at global prospects and, most notably, at the heavy situation for US soybean that could offset the fragile rapeseed situation — what impact will this have on prices in the coming months?

12h45 - 13h00  Sugar outlook: will the global surplus drastically change the perspectives for European production in 2019?
We will present our forecasts for the 2018/2019 season and we will detail our forecasts for European sugar beet areas for the 2019 harvest.

Every session will include exchanges and a Q&A. We will then have the opportunity to continue discussions during the cocktail/lunch where it will be our pleasure in this more informal setting to answer any further questions you may have!

And of course, you can meet our team at any time during the European Exchange at stand E10!
